The Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate Course (AROC) is designed to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and practical instruction required to operate an aeronautical radiotelephone.
 

Course Objectives:

The Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate Course (AROC) is designed to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and practical instruction required to operate an aeronautical radiotelephone.

The AROC course covers radio theory as well as practical radio operation including the phraseology used in basic radio transmissions at both towered and non-towered (CTAF) operating environments.

On successful completion of the Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate course students will be eligible for the issue of CASA AROC.

AROC Course Pre-requisites
As part of the CASA AROC requirements  students are required to hold or apply for an Aviation Reference Number (ARN).

All AROC applicants must provide evidence that they comply with the CASA aviation General English Language Proficiency requirements.
